Declaration to Moldova — Full Instructions for Filling Out
A declaration to Moldova is required when you are bringing in significant amounts of money or goods that require mandatory declaration. This procedure helps avoid fines and delays at customs. This article provides instructions for filling out the declaration, the cases when it is necessary, and the rules for the green and red corridors, including rules for cash and cultural values.
What Defines the Declaration Form?
The declaration form is approved by Law No. 62/2008 on Currency Regulation of the Republic of Moldova and other customs regulations. The document regulates the declaration process for currency and material values when entering the country.

When is the Declaration to Moldova Required?
The declaration must be filled out if you are bringing more than 10,000 euros per person into Moldova, or if you are transporting goods that require declaration, such as medications, weapons, or cultural values. In some cases, declarations may also be filled out at the border even for those crossing without declaring goods through the green corridor.
Important!
Cash is counted per person. This means that even if you are traveling with a child, amounts exceeding 10,000 euros per child must also be declared. Money should be divided into separate amounts for each individual, including children, if the amount for each exceeds 10,000 euros.
